Born in 1975 in Northern Jutland (Denmark)

 

Trine has, for many years, worked as an art teacher. The last couple of years, she has focused more on her own paintings.

Trines paintings shows a quiet reflection and a deep immersion in the human mind. Her artwork catches moments of thoughtfulness and presence, where her (figures/characters) are engrossed by their surroundings or their own thoughts.

​

 

The unsaid is often central in her paintings - the small intimate moments, where moods and feelings speak louder than words. The colors are often muted and harmonic, and the lightning plays an important role in creating atmosphere and depth.

​

 

The motives often revolves around people in silence and reflection, where the surroundings - whether it’s the natures deep green or a rooms simple lines - support a sense off calm, introspection and a bit of melancholy.

 

 

Trine has, for many years, worked as an art teacher, but has the latest years focused primarily on her own paintings. She mostly works with oil and acrylic paint, men she also experiments with mixed media and linoleum print.

 

 

Her art is a tribute to the moments we immerse ourselves in, in our inner world - a quiet reflection caught on a canvas.
